If you have an Enterprise license and have been granted permission in your respective SeRP platform, then you will be able to launch Nvivo, however you will need to do a couple of steps to ensure you are able to launch it.
You will need to go to the R drive, otherwise known as the “Resources“ area
R: drive aka “Resources” → Software → Nvivo
Once in the Nvivo Folder you will need to Copy both:
NvivoLicense.txt
NvivoLicense.xml
Create a folder in your P drive called “Nvivo“ and paste the above files into it.
edit your NvivoLicense.txt and add your Enterprise license in the format:
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
There should be nothing else in the file.
Some will want to Register the product correctly so you may edit the XML file also, but this is optional.
Once the above steps are complete run the shortcut on the desktop.
Some May experiance multiple windows of a none activated product, ignore them, and await for it to appear for your name and initials, this is the indicatoer that the product is activated.
VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO CLOSE THE BLACK WINDOW THAT APPEARS WHEN RUNNING NVIVO. IF MULTIPLE WINDOWS APPEAR CLOSE ALL NVIVO WINDOWS LEAVING THE COMMAND WINDOW (BLACK WINDOW) UNTIL ALL HAVE BEEN CLOSED.
