Ports required for Horizon VDI

Before you can connect to SeRP via VMware Horizon, you may need to ask your organisation's IT team to allow the connection.

The outbound ports required are:

  • 443 TCP (https)

  • 4172 TCP & UDP

  • 8443 TCP & UDP

The Horizon client will need to be able to connect to:

  • https://connect.serp.ac.uk

  • alpha.connect.serp.ac.uk

  • beta.connect.serp.ac.uk

  • gamma.connect.serp.ac.uk

  • delta.connect.serp.ac.uk

  • 137.44.141.60/30

  • 137.44.57.60/30

HTTP(s) traffic can be via a proxy as long as HTTPS inspection (man in the middle) is not used.
