Remote Desktop Problems From CHI Laptops

Are you finding problems with the mouse on your desktop?

Perhaps Getting a Welcome screen that wont go away?

Even a Remote Desktop that just keeps freezing?

Then there is a solution!

Warning this fix appears to be an oddity in Microsoft's bug list

The way to fix the above problems will be to open “Remote Desktop Connection” clicking “Show Options“

Open

“Show Options” can be seen to the bottom left of the window (underlined in red)

Then look for the “Local Resources“ Tab

Open

“Local Resources” can be seen underlined in red

Ensure “Printers“ is unticked then return to “General”

Open

Uncheck Printers, and then press the “General” Tab

Then continue adding in your details for your desktop and connect using your credentials as before.
